Bluefin and Saturn Corporation Announce Partnership for PCI-Validated Point-to-Point Encryption (P2PE) and Payment Processing
Saturn Corporation will provide their non-profit base the security, PCI scope reduction and brand protection of P2PE, backed by Bluefin payment processing
November 19, 2019 – Atlanta, GA and Largo, MD – Bluefin, the leading provider of payment security technologies, including PCI-validated Point-to-Point Encryption (P2PE), has announced a new partnership with Saturn Corporation for integrated payment processing and P2PE through Eprisa, the company’s enterprise-class fundraising database technology platform.
The Eprisa multi-channel fundraising platform includes Digital API’s, Data Warehouse, High Touch Fundraising, Mobile Platform, Telemarketing ACD API, and other modules. The company’s EprisaConnect solution provides the real-time connection between an organization’s website and its database CRM software, and the system can process a donation in real-time and have the funds deposited immediately as well as the donor’s record updated immediately.
Saturn Corporation’s Eprisa technology platform is powered by the InterSystems database technology engine. InterSystems, a global leader in information technology platforms for health, business, and government applications, was named a January 2019 Gartner Peer Insights Customers’ Choice for Operational Database Management Systems (ODBMS).
“Saturn is committed to be the leading technology provider for CRM, Database, Data Warehouses, and Analytics in the non-profit sector,” said Fielding Yost, President, Saturn Corporation. “Our technology is powered by the fastest database in the world, according to Gartner, who conducted over 350,000 surveys in all industries. We are thrilled to add Bluefin as a technology partner.”
Through the partnership, Saturn clients can get PCI-validated P2PE and integrated payment processing using Bluefin’s PayConex payment platform. PayConex integrates directly with Eprisa to process debit and credit payments, as well as provide tokenization and eCommerce and card present payment acceptance.
“Saturn is breaking new ground in the non-profit base with their innovative suite of products, and we are very excited that they have chosen Bluefin to meet their payment security and processing needs,” said Marvin Jones, Director of Business Development, Bluefin.
The Bluefin/Saturn offering secures credit and debit card transactions by encrypting all data within a PCI-approved point of entry device. This prevents clear-text cardholder data from being available within the device, or in the merchant’s system where exposure to malware is possible. Data decryption always occurs offsite in a Bluefin hardware security module (HSM), ensuring the highest level of security.
